M & L Tank Outlet or Suction Oil Heaters are for installation in bulk storage tanks to pre-warm viscous liquids such as fuel oil, tar, road oil, molasses, lubricating oil, or asphalt, which have been exposed to low temperatures. Steam or hot water can be used as the heating medium.

These heaters are economical to operate because they heat only the liquid that is being withdrawn, without heating the entire contents of the tank.

Installation of the heaters may be done by any of the illustrated procedures.
